- Textbooks and course materials may be returned or exchanged during the first 5 days of the Fall & Spring terms. Return/Exchange period for: Maymester - 2 days from and including the first day of class; Summer I & Summer II - 3 days from and including the first day of class. After the return/exchange date has past, textbook and course material sales are final.

- New textbooks must not have any bent or torn pages, marks, highlighting or other damage. Some shrink-wrapped books or packages are not returnable if opened. Textbooks with computer software cannot be returned if software is opened.

- No returns are accepted for course packets, imported foreign language books, or any book or package marked "Not Returnable."

- Refunds will be given in the same form of payment, i.e., if you paid with a credit card, a credit will be issued to the same credit card that was used for the purchase; payment by book voucher, a credit will be placed on your account. If payment was made by check, a check refund will be isued by the USC Columbia Finance Department.
